Making Money in the Weight Loss Industry

Its been a little over a year since I first started marketing weight loss products as an affiliate, Ive signed up with every affiliate program out there that has a diet product or program. You name it I am member (Clickbank, CJ, JoeBucks, Hydra, Never Blue ads etc...) but it wasnt until I found MoreNiche that I started making real money with diet products.

I found MoreNiche when they released their Diet Pill (Proactol™) in January of 2007, since then I have sold $38,000 worth of their diet pill, not bad seeing as I barely generated a sale a month for the first couple. To get my website to a point where I appear as an authority figure in the diet industry took some work. Building backlinks, blogs, lenses and writing articles. A big help in getting my weight loss site to the top was creating my own Health and Wellness Directory using 3 way referral linking so when a site added their url, I gave them a link from the directory and they in turn gave me a link to my diet site. The directory is Niche and only accepts sites that are related to the medical industry, as a plus I've also sold a couple of dozen feature links on the directory to boost my profits.

Recently I created a blog to target the key word Diet Pills, my hopes are to build the traffic to this site which in turn will feed my Proactol review site. I have set the blog on auto pilot and its already getting 150+ visitors per day, about 5% are following links back to my main site.

So now I have an authority site that makes me a decent income, some sister sites that all work together and I dont have to spread my resources outside of one niche, which makes buying stock photos, hiring writers and doing SEO a lot easier.
