Paid Surveys: Are they just Scams?

There are a number of sites that supposedly pay you if you just read their e-mails, click on links, play some games, answer surveys etc. A lot of people are now using these paid surveys as a way of living. The thing is not all sites really pay and are legitimate. If you want to earn by answering surveys, then you should be able to distinguish the ones that pay from the ones that are nothing but fakes. There are now dozens and dozens of survey websites that you can choose from but you have to be extra careful in choosing the site to work for because there might be pitfalls such as non payment. Research about how many times the chosen company sends out surveys because most of them just send surveys out every few weeks, meaning that you wouldn't earn a lot with those kind. Paid online survey companies vary in terms of the criteria they use in picking the participant in the surveys and the location of the company is also important (e.g. participants living in the US would search for US survey companies).

One can make money with paid surveys and this money making scheme is similar to any other opportunity wherein the more time you spend working for them, the greater is your chance of earning a big sum. However without finding a legitimate company offering paid online surveys, then you wouldn't really have lucrative earnings.

If you are a newbie in this kind of thing, the first thing to do is to sign up with all of the top companies offering cash surveys which you can determine as long as you do an extensive research via the Internet. This is also for you to receive at least one survey daily and once you master it, then you can go ahead and sign up with more companies and in the end earn more.

Another way to make money online with paid surveys is to spot the fakes from the legitimate ones. This can be done by taking note of the following information:

The company is a scam if:

  • You have to pay in order to join their site and even reason out that with the bulk of surveys they'll give you, you can get back the fee you paid.
  • In doing your research about the company, no contact information is available and there are no facts when it comes to the amount per survey, pay out schedule, etc.
  • The website is one with a bad quality. Usually, the legitimate companies shell out money to ensure that they have a professional website.
  • They promise you with really large earnings which are too good to be true. Stay away from them because large earnings have to come with hard work.

As for the signs of a legitimate paid online survey company:

  • They offer you totally free membership.
  • You find the company information as well as information about the pay out schedules, minimum pay outs, etc.
  • The company's website is professional and organized.
  • The amount you can earn is fairly "normal" and you are not offered with earnings that are impossible to reach in such a short period of time.

Use these tips in searching for the legitimate company that could pay you for answering surveys and avoid being scammed big time.
